How I feed a runner

I am certain there is no single path or "diet" that leads to optimal health and sports performance. We all have different nutrition needs, preferences, beliefs, lifestyles, medical histories…I could keep going here. Each session is customized to you and what’s going on in your training or recovery journey. Your goals, your vision are what guide our work together, and from there we will to find the most realistic and sustainable ways to achieve them while still living (and enjoying!) everyday life. That means no calorie or macro counting, no generic meal plans, and absolutely no strict diets. Instead, we will work as a team to elevate your eating and fueling game to suit your life, your training calendar, your pursuits. Any recommendations will be individualized to you, and if I’m going to be up front here, will probably include encouraging you to stress less and rest more.

Guts got your goat?

I have experience in specialized nutrition for gut issues. If you have new food sensitivities popping up and are struggling to find anything at an aid station that doesn’t turn you inside-out, I’ve got your back (and belly). I’ve helped endurance athletes keep moving with a few lifestyle adjustments and some careful supplementation.

Why do I care so much about y’all?

Though a couch potato until my mid-thirties, running captured my heart while going through a divorce. My first ever race was a half-marathon, so going the distance was always my jam (also, going fast was not). I met trail running a few years later and soon completed my first ultra. I felt welcomed by others who heard the call of the wild. I continue to run, as well as support the great community by helping them fuel their amazing bodies. My distances have shortened in the last couple of years, but you will still find me at an aid station several times a year…because no one goes hungry on my watch.
